Mr. Barrios was born in Guatemala during Guatemala’s brutal civil war. His family immigrated to the United States in 1979 in order to realize a better life. Mr. Barrios legalized his status during the 1980’s by way of the Amnesty program. He became a United States Citizen in 1998.

Mr. Barrios earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge in 2001.

He then earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Northern Illinois University, College of Law in 2006.

Mr. Barrios is experienced trial attorney in the fields of immigration and criminal defense. Through his 18 years of experience, he has successfully represented over 3500 clients in obtaining their legal status, and over 2500 criminal matters.
